Remo Picchietti


Remo Picchietti teaches Effective Leadership, Strategic Management, Global Business & Cultural Diversity and the Global Focus course, in which Lake Forest students study abroad. He also brings his extensive global expertise and engaging personality to Corporate Learning Solutions programs in the areas of strategy and global operations. He received the Distinguished Faculty Award in 2013 and 2018.

Remo is the Vice President - Strategy & Corporate Development (M&A) at The Boler Company, a family enterprise, for its portfolio companies. He concentrates on investments in aerospace and medical device businesses and technologies related to advanced materials and manufacturing (traditional and that linked to robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and IoT).

Remo serves on the Board of Directors of Carl Buddig & Company, a fourth-generation family business that manufactures food products, and Anchor-Harvey, a manufacturer of components for the aerospace, medical, recreational vehicle and other markets.

Previously, Remo served on the Board of Directors of Adesso Solutions, a cloud-based SaaS common platform(.Net) software solution, and Tigers, Ltd., a Hong Kong-based global logistics business.

Also, Remo was the interim Chief Operating Officer for project44, a SaaS, API-based technology company serving the transportation and logistics industry, and Family Office Exchange (FOX), a learning and networking community of family business leaders, family office executives, and their trusted advisors.

Remo also works with The Junto Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership, dedicated to increasing leadership capabilities, emotional intelligence, and management skills of startup founders.

Previously, Remo was a Strategic Partner at Silver Oak Services Partners, LLC, and Seneca Partners, both leading middle-market private equity firm, which actively target investment opportunities in the transportation, logistics and supply chain industries.

Remo was the CEO of WLG (USA), LLC and World Commerce Services, LLC, which he sold to Hong Kong-based Tigers, Ltd., and for which he served on the Board of Directors and as CEO. Tigers is an international transportation and logistics service provider with offices in several countries.

As a global trade executive, Remo has worked with companies serving more than 100 countries, with extensive field experience in most major global markets. He has developed and managed staff, facilities, associates, vendors and customers in the Americas, Europe and Asia since 1985.
