Leah Bailey


A performance-driven leader with deep experience in marketing and general management in consumer products, Leah Bailey teaches Marketing, Leadership, and Strategy courses at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Leah’s current work is in strategic consulting, specializing in corporate, marketing, competitive and retail strategy, M&A guidance and innovation. Most recently, Leah was the President of Global Beauty for Helen of Troy Limited a public company where her division marketed brand-name hair appliances, accessories and personal care products. At Helen of Troy, Leah led the company’s strategic integration of global businesses and oversaw a transformation of both product strategies and operations. For 11 years, she served as the President & CEO of Paris Presents, Inc. a privately held marketer of beauty products. At Paris Presents, Leah led an organizational transformation that included building a new leadership team, developing a strategic planning model and entering new, overseas markets. She also led and oversaw its sale from family ownership to private equity.

During telecom deregulation, Leah served as the VP, Retail Products & Services at GTE. She was at Alberto Culver for ten years, serving as the VP and General Manager of the Toiletries Division, VP of New Business Development and VP of Marketing. Leah began her career in brand management at Quaker Oats.
