James Prather


James Prather teaches Global Marketing and facilitates corporate learning engagements at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

James is a blue chip executive with solid marketing, sales, and business development credentials derived from career-long successes at world class organizations, including Sealed Air, Revlon, Unilever USA, Kraft Foods, Miller Brewing, E&J Gallo Winery and PepsiCo. He's led cross-functional teams in the successful execution of numerous new product launches and has grown brand businesses across B2C and B2B multi-channel environments that include supermarket, drug, warehouse club, value store, specialty retail, food service retail, internet, distribution, and broker management networks.

James is the Global Director of Marketing with NSF International, where he oversees the development and implementation of marketing strategy for a global organization that conducts product testing, auditing and certification for the food, water, pharma, medical device, aerospace, environmental, and consumer goods industries. He has advanced through numerous promotions throughout his career including seven advancements in 12 years while at Altria's previous operating companies; Kraft Foods and Miller Brewing Company.
