Presented by HRMAC with LFGSM Faculty Suzanne Coonan
Join LFGSM faculty and HRMAC as they help HR professionals become effective leaders and influencers this February, March, and April. In the Business Essentials series, LFGSM and HRMAC hope to strengthen the HR community and its leaders through several courses focused on strengthening influencing strategies and financial fundamentals. The first of these courses is Influencing Strategies on February 6th.
Much of the time, HR professional and leaders have to influence without having positional
power. They are asked to drive organizational effectiveness and performance by convincing
others to invest their time, resources, and budgets. Compelling and rational business
cases are essential, but may not always be good enough. To be an effective HR leader,
you need to be an effective influencer.
Via presentation, case studies, and small group work, this course will teach you how to create strategies to influence your key stakeholders so that they can make wise decisions. Get the skills you need to be a successful and memorable communicator with the five steps to influence that result in a win-win outcome for all parties.
