Our biases, which all of us have, can impact our ability to be inclusive leaders and strong employees. They can have an impact on one’s career progression. These biases may have a direct bearing on hiring and retaining talent, and they can affect morale and engagement. A company can get, retain, and lose customers based on this alone.
This course offers ways to understand our unconscious biases, and what steps we can take to mitigate their effects.
As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Take a test to uncover hidden biases.
- Identify how one’s beliefs can lead to unfair judgments.
- Describe how micro-affirmations can replace micro-inequities.
- Discuss ways to mitigate the negative impact of unconscious bias.
