LFGSM Contest 2 Impact

For over 67 years, Lake Forest Graduate School of Management has provided practical, professional development for business leaders.  With a proud history of academic excellence and our exceptional Faculty and curriculum, LFGSM prepares professionals to create an impact in a variety of industries and professions.

Our business leader faculty foster an environment of mentoring, hands-on learning, collaboration and teamwork in which everyone shares diverse experiences, learns from them and gains new opportunities.  We call our approach “For Business. By Business.”  That is our story, now we would like to hear yours!

How Do We Define Impact?

The measurable business result – such as gains in revenue, productivity and cost savings – which can be attributed all or in part to participants’ application of competencies they learned or practiced in our educational programs.

Business impact is measured in three areas:

  1. Individual (using income, title and advancement metrics)
  2. Organization (using industry metrics)
  3. Community (using social impact and sustainability metrics)

Contest Rules and Instructions

If you are an Alumni of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management or a current Student, we are interested in hearing how your Leadership MBA or Immersion MBA program has created impact in your career, your organization or your community.  We are accepting submissions in video format (YouTube or Vevo) or written stories that express how (and in what way) your MBA has created impact in your life.   Share your story and you will be entered to win 1 of 3 tablets.

Submit your entry through our Facebook App

before April 30, 2014.

Like Us On Facebook

  1. Written submissions must be submitted through the Facebook app.  Please limit your submission to four hundred (400) words or less.
  2. Video submissions must be hosted on YouTube or Vevo.  Please provide your contact information and the URL to your video submission through our Facebook app.
  3. Only one submission per person.  Must be a current Student or member of our Alumni to enter.

Contest ends April 30, 2014.

Winners will be randomly selected from qualified submissions and announced on May 2, 2014.   Prize winners will be notified by email and published on LakeEffects (blog).

By submitting your entry to the ‘Share Your Lake Forest MBA Impact Story’ contest in accordance with the official rules, you hereby grant Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and its designees the right to edit, promote and publish your submission.


The content of your submission may be used for advertising, promotional or other purposes without having to seek permission from the participant or any third party.  Any entry may (at our discretion) be posted online on our official blog, or social media channels. Three winners will be randomly drawn from qualified submissions on May 2, 2014 and notified by email.
