On behalf of the Board of Directors, Staff, Management and Faculty of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, we would like to wish a happy holiday season to our on-campus and online students.

The past year has held a vast number of exciting and engaging events at Lake Forest, to enhance our academic community. We instituted the popular First Friday Events to provide social and networking opportunities for Staff, Faculty and Students in a face-to-face format. The feedback we received from the First Friday Events was enthusiastic and we enjoyed hosting the events for everyone.

Our Lake Forest Graduate School of Management Golf Classic 2014 raised $47,702.00 toward our Scholarship Fund and was a tremendous success. We would like to thank the staff and volunteers who assisted with the Golf Classic. Your help made it a memorable event for everyone.

Our Global Focus students enjoyed acquiring international business experience in Poland and in Brazil, among other destinations. The Global Focus continues to present a valuable opportunity for MBA students to learn abroad through short immersion, and to network overseas. Registration is open until January 10, 2015, for our trip to Belgrade, Serbia, in March.

Our Marketing Department launched and completed a rebranding of the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management website, and allocated resources to provide topical and insightful business articles through LakeEffects, the official LFGSM blog.

We proudly welcomed our new president, Jeff Anderson, this October. Jeff brings extensive business, academic and leadership experience to LFGSM. Previously serving as an Associate Dean for Leadership Development at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Jeff continues to advise leading business executives and is excited to join the LFGSM community.

We would like to thank the Board of Directors for their leadership and our Faculty for supporting the continued reputation we enjoy for quality leadership MBA studies. We encourage our students and alumni to share their stories with us, and engage with us on Facebook, Twitter and Google+, and we extend an invitation to have you submit content for our business and professional development blog.

Enrich your experience at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management by connecting online and offline with events and other networking opportunities.

We wish you all a happy holiday.
