Lake Forest Honors Patricia A. Coffey with Distinguished Director Award

Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (LFGSM) is proud to honor Patricia A. Coffey with the 2015 Distinguished Director Award. Pat is recognized for her nearly decade-long involvement on the School’s Board of Directors, generously sharing her time, extensive business knowledge and leadership with LFGSM.

Pat Coffey is the Senior Vice President of Technology at Allstate Insurance Company. With an over thirty year career at Allstate, Pat is a seasoned executive and innovative leader at the forefront of developing technology solutions for the insurance leader. She has been named a Top 100 IT Leader by ComputerWorld and honored twice as a “Women in Insurance Leadership” awardee by Insurance Networking News.

Lake Forest Graduate School of Management President and CEO Jeff Anderson says, “Pat Coffey has actively advanced the mission of LFGSM to deliver relevant MBA curriculum and corporate development programs. She is willing to participate in any way to make the School successful and is an indispensable leader on the Board of Directors.”

Since joining the Board of Directors in October 2007, Pat has served on five different committees. She currently serves as the chair of the Non-Degree Programs Committee, offering leadership for the School’s growing Corporate Learning Solutions programs. She previously chaired the Research, Development and Innovation Committee.

Pat is a committed and effective advocate for LFGSM. In addition to her excellent board attendance and strong contributions during board meetings, her stewardship has helped shape ongoing initiatives at LFGSM to develop and deliver leadership development products and services offered by Corporate Learning Solutions. She brings a leadership perspective that is grounded in leading large technical teams and engaging talent to perform in an agile way. Pat also provides generous support to the School’s scholarship fund.

David McDonough, LFGSM Board Chair, honored Coffey for the integral and active role she has played on the Board. Kenneth Hoffman, Board Vice-Chair and 2014 Distinguished Executive Award winner, presented Pat with the Distinguished Director Award at the Board of Directors meeting on Friday, March 11.
