The purpose of the First Friday Events are to allow staff, faculty and students the opportunity to network and engage socially in a friendly environment, while learning something new and interesting. This light hearted social opportunity provides an excellent opportunity to network with other students and professionals from a variety of business backgrounds.
The upcoming First Friday Networking event will provide a free copy of the “The Human Brand: How We Relate to People, Products, and Companies” by Chris Malone. In this book, Chris Malone distills the emotional link between brands and consumers, and the affiliation or personal loyalty they feel to specific products and companies.
Wine and cheese and light refreshments will be served and the cost of the event is free to Lake Forest Faculty, Staff and Students. We are accepting children’s books in good condition for donation to Bernie’s Books, and a voluntary donation can be made to the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management Scholarship fund.
