Faculty Prepares to Present at Annual HBA Conference

Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (LFGSM) Business Leader Faculty® are leaders in their fields. In addition to teaching graduate business courses and Corporate Learning Solutions programs, they are invited to present at prestigious conferences by their peers. This week, Business Leader Faculty® member Leslie Wainwright, Ph.D., will present in the 2016 Annual Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Conference on Advancing New Healthcare Business Models: Accelerating Innovation.

Leslie Wainwright says healthcare organizations must innovate at an increasingly rapid pace. Now is the time to embrace design thinking and design principles to create new business and care delivery models.

Leslie is an innovative leader in the healthcare industry. She is bringing her unique experience and unparalleled perspective to the HBA audience with a presentation especially for transformers in healthcare delivery. She will focus on assisting managers and teams to:

  • Create alternative healthcare business models using state-of-the-art design tools,
  • Identify critical assumptions and determine ways to test them,
  • Recognize why healthcare business models need to change.

The 2016 HBA Annual Conference expects more than 900 esteemed leaders, from all sectors of healthcare. It will be held November 2-4, 2016 at the St. Louis Convention Center, St. Louis, Missouri. About Leslie: Leslie Wainwright, Ph.D., is a Business Leader Faculty® member at LGSFM and Strategy Designer at Business Models Inc. Leslie is a renowned leader in healthcare transformation and a pioneer in academic research, pharma/biotechnology and healthcare delivery systems. She has worked on numerous cutting-edge healthcare initiatives, including her role as the former Chief Strategy Officer of AVIA, a healthcare-focused accelerator, and Senior Vice President of Sg2, a healthcare intelligence and consulting company.
