Leadership MBA Courses & CirriculumLeadership MBA students take 13 core graduate courses and 3 electives to earn their degree. You’ll earn three leadership graduate certificates and your MBA degree – four credentials in one.
This certificate-style sequence to our program allows you to earn certificates while working toward your MBA degree. It also allows for you to add meaningful credentials to your resume well before graduation day. A typical course sequence is laid out below.
Keys To Your Success (KEYS) self-paced online modules are a prerequisite for all LFGSM courses. Each topic covered (Digital Literacy, Fundamentals of Finance, Communication and Teams, and Critical Thinking), provides a four-hour introduction to key concepts introduced in the core MBA program’s Certificates. This self-paced material includes assessments and resources that will serve to better prepare students for the rigor of graduate work. These pass/fail modules are linked to particular certificates and must be completed prior to starting specific, linked certificates.
Digital Literacy and Communication and Teams is linked to the Change Management Certificate.
Digital Literacy and Fundamentals of Finance is linked to the Management Analytics Certificate.
Digital Literacy and Critical Thinking is linked to the Strategy and Execution Certificate.

Leadership MBA students go at their own pace, taking one or two graduate classes,
and flexing their academic schedules between evening, weekend and online, to fit with
their busy lives. You’re allowed up to six years to finish your graduation requirements,
because we know that “life happens.” But for those who want to earn their Lake Forest
MBA quickly, graduation can be just 18 months away.
