Ron Rooth, who serves as an executive coach in Corporate Learning Solutions engagements, provides over 35 years of expertise in multiple business disciplines. Prior to founding Rooth Coaching and Consulting, LLC, he was a vice president and executive coach with the Robinson Resource Group. Ron’s career has included stints as a CPA, CFO and CEO in both large and small companies, spanning several industries. A key common element in each role was Ron’s success in engaging people to achieve superior results.
A CPA, Ron began his career as a Principal at what is now Ernst & Young. He then served in various senior financial roles with G.D. Searle, spanning corporate, international, and domestic operations. After serving as a CFO for a privately held software company, Ron served as VP, CFO for a division of Exelon. He then became CFO and later appointed CEO of a privately held healthcare technology business, where he changed the culture of the organization leading to sustainable profitable growth. Just prior to his coaching and consulting career, Ron served as VP, Commercial & CFO of Fonterra North America, a dairy cooperative based in New Zealand, providing organizational focus and direction.
Ron received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. He is a Registered Corporate Coach™ with the World Association of Business Coaches.
