Katherine Bertone


Kathy Bertone teaches Project Management and Global Business and Cultural Diversity at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

For over 35 years, Kathy has had the opportunity to lead worldwide projects both domestically and internationally, in both the private and public sectors. She has had extensive experience with managing virtual and globally dispersed teams, as well as a number of different project management methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile. She has had the opportunity to be able to merge the practice of project management with international business to be able to deliver successful projects worldwide.

Kathy is Global Project Manager at Hewlett Packard, where she has worked for twelve years.  Previously, she was a Project Manager for Compaq Computer and a Project Manager/Software Development Manager at Digital Equipment Corporation. She co-founded a non-profit animal rescue organization called Dalmatian Friends of Georgia, which partners with county and state governments to educate the public in animal care and population control.
