James S. Welch
James Welch teaches Ethical Leadership and Decision Making at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Jim has served in the US Army Reserve for over 20 years, currently holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is presently assigned as an Ethics Subject Matter Expert with the US Army Training and Doctrine Command. Prior to this assignment, he served as Senior Instructor and Course Developer for the US Army Chaplain School, and as Command Chaplain for the ROTC Leadership Development and Assessment Course. His military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal; the Army Commendation Medal; the Army Achievement Medal; the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal; the Armed Forces Reserve Medal; the National Defense Service Medal; and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
Jim teaches Business, Law and Ethics at St. Petersburg College, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Presbyterian Foundation. He is also a current Visiting Assistant Professor of Management at Eckerd College.
