A senior finance executive with a proven track record of shaping financial strategy and delivering results, Isabelle Goossen teaches finance courses at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

For 16 years, she served as Vice President and CFO for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, where she developed program profitability and long-range financial plans to address its structural deficit. She initiated cash management, budgeting, and capital spending policies resulting in tighter control of assets. She was able to restructure a $146 million debt portfolio: obtained a Moody’s rating; renegotiated letter of credit facilities; and secured a $5 million line of credit. Isabelle also overhauled finance, accounting and information systems departments, increasing efficiency and customer service orientation.

Prior to her position with the Chicago Symphony, Isabelle was Vice President and Treasurer for Premark International, where she was responsible for worldwide financing and investor relations. She managed corporate finance, pension finance, cash, financial risk, bank and rating agency relationships, and served as the organization’s chief spokesperson with the financial community.
