Certifications and Course Waivers

The Lake Forest Graduate School of Management understands that your expertise should mean something for your degree. We value your certifications and acknowledge them by offering course waivers for each credential you hold. For those holding HRCI certifications, we also have a select number of courses that can count towards your recertification at 28 credits per course completed. Discover which of your credentials will qualify for course waivers below, and begin building on the knowledge and expertise you already have.

+ PROJECT MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION

Students who currently hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute can qualify for the following course waiver:

MGT 5820 Project Management (MBA Elective/MSM Core Course) 

+ SIX SIGMA CERTIFICATION

Students who currently hold a Six Sigma Certification (6σ) certification can qualify for the following course waiver:

Students who currently hold one of the following Human Resource certifications from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) can qualify for the following course waivers or recertification credit:

Students who currently hold a Certified Public Account (CPA) certification can qualify for the following course waiver:

ACC 5110 Accounting for Decision Making (MBA Core Course)
