The Annual Giving and Alumni Relations Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of the annual giving program and the alumni relations program for LFGSM. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning, implementing, tracking, and evaluating ongoing fundraising strategies for Annual Giving campaign
  • Identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding Annual Appeal donors
  • Managing fundraising events and ensuring appropriate donor recognition
  • Overseeing and managing alumni affairs including:

        - Creating strategies to reengage alumni
        - Directing alumni volunteers
        - Ensuring ongoing communication with alumni
        - Leading efforts to locate “lost” alumni

The position will also include extensive Project Management and Business Management responsibilities, and requires teamwork and collaboration both within the Enterprise Advancement department and across the School.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in development/fundraising and/or alumni relations required
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising, particularly in the area of annual giving programs necessary
  • Experience in a not-for-profit and/or higher education setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, strong service orientation, and experience in dealing well with the public and various constituencies are essential
  • Strong project management, organization, and time management skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, and familiarity with fundraising software, preferably Raiser’s Edge, a must
