Suzanne G. Coonan
Vice President - Human Resources
Ms. Coonan joined the staff of the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in May 2001. As Vice President of Human Resources, she is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources at the School including: recruiting and staffing; compensation and benefits; training and development; legal and compliance; employee relations, and organizational development. She has over 15 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Prior to joining LFGSM, she served as a Human Resources Generalist with West Group, a legal publishing firm in Deerfield, where she was responsible for recruiting, employee relations, training, compliance and special projects for over 250 employees in the legal field.
From 1997-2000 Ms. Coonan served as Resource Manager and HR Consultant for Cambridge Technology Partners, an IT consulting firm in Chicago. As a consultant, she managed Human Resources projects for various clients, including a large transportation company and a financial services firm. As a Resource Manager, she had accountability for the recruitment, development, salary administration and performance management for senior consultants and project managers in the Midwest region. From 1994 - 1997 she was an HR Systems Analyst for Hewitt Associates, a benefits consulting firm in Lincolnshire.
Ms. Coonan is currently a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), The Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), and the Northern Illinois Society of Human Resources Management (NISHRM).
