Commitment to Community
At Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, we value being good citizens. Examples of our involvement in the community include:
- Our employees volunteer for a variety of causes they are passionate about, including MenTTium 100, National Runaway Switchboard, Habitat for Humanity, and the Lilac Tree
- Many members of our staff are also involved with professional associations, including the Executives Club, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE)
- LFGSM is a member of the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Rotary, and we recently co-hosted the 10th Annual Economic Outlook Breakfast, with proceeds benefiting local charities
- Each year our staff participates in a Thanksgiving food drive, donating over 400 food items annually to local charities
- Each year our staff participates in “Toys for Tots,” donating over 100 toys annually
By sharing our time and talent with others we hope to improve the quality of life in our community, and the quality of community in our lives.
