Senior Vice President, Kraft International Finance, Kraft Foods International

Mr. Chan was appointed to his current position in February 2008. His responsibilities encompass leading the financial activities for all of Kraft's International businesses outside of North America.  From January 2004 to February 2008, he was the Senior Vice President of Finance & Strategy, Kraft Foods, Global Supply Chain. His responsibilities included financial and strategy activities relating to procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and capital investments around the world. He is a 29-year veteran of the Kraft Foods companies. 

Previous positions have included Vice President, Finance for Kraft Foods European Union; Vice President, Finance for Kraft Foods North America Operations; Controller of the Kraft North America Cheese Division; Director of Worldwide Food Strategy for Philip Morris; and financial positions supporting the marketing and sales organizations. He began his career at Kraft as an engineer at the Kraft Houston coffee manufacturing plant.

In October of 2000, Mr. Chan was awarded the Asian American Corporate Achievement Award by the Organization of Chinese Americans in recognition of both his outstanding career accomplishments and his contributions towards enhancing opportunities for Asian Americans in the corporate world. He was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States in 1967. He was elected to the Board of Directors of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in 2008.
