Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (LFGSM), announced that its Board has appointed Jeffrey J. Anderson as the 5th President and CEO of the Graduate School, effective October 27, 2014.
Jeff is currently Associate Dean for Leadership Development at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and a Partner and co-founder of The Chatham Group, a consulting advisory firm that he launched in 2003. Jeff joined the staff of the University of Chicago in 2007, where his position was a hybrid between faculty and senior staff.
Jeff is a partner and co-founder of The Chatham Group, an association of executive coaching professionals with many years of experience as a senior business leader. He has worked with senior executives in the distribution, consumer product, energy, investment banking, consulting, telecommunication and automotive industries.
Board Chair, David M. McDonough, said: “The LFGSM Board of Directors believes that Jeff has the right combination of skills, experience and perspective to lead the School in a new era of fulfilling its mission and vision, building on the School’s long and rich history.”
Jeff received his MBA (with honors) from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, with a BA in Economics and Accounting, from Carthage College. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois.
In addition to his work, Jeff has served as Board Chair of The Danish Home since 2010. He has led the turnaround of this 120-year-old not-for-profit senior living facility. He also served from 2004-2007 on the Audit Committee of the City of Lake Forest, where he lives with his wife, Cheryl, and their three children.
