Annual Alumni Survey
Thanks to all who took our 2006-2007 Alumni Survey! The results are in, and you gave us some great ideas to enrich the Alumni Program. According to our survey, the most important things to you are (in order of importance):
- Networking opportunities
- Access to the alumni database
- Regular communication and updates from us
- Career management assistance
- Ongoing educational forums and events.
In addition, 94% of the 2006-2007 Alumni Survey respondents said they would prefer to receive regular updates via email, with 94% saying they would like to hear from us monthly or quarterly.
"Ask an Alum" Mini Surveys
Welcome to "Ask an Alum," Lake Forest Graduate School of Management's new Alumni Mini-Survey initiative. To meet your needs as alumni – along with the needs of our current and prospective students – it's important to get frequent, timely feedback.
"Ask an Alum" surveys are quick and convenient. Each survey takes about five minutes, and will provide us with valuable input for enhancing our programs and offerings. New surveys will be announced quarterly by email.
Since you may be giving up a coffee break to take our survey, we want to make it worth your while. Every 25th person who takes an "Ask the Alum" survey will receive a $5 Starbucks card.
Thanks to all who participated in the recent "Feelings of Connectedness to LFGSM" Ask an Alum survey.
Over 300 people shared their thoughts on what makes them feel connected to LFGSM. Among the top picks were:
- Reading "Stay Connected @ LFGSM", the Alumni e-Newsletter
- Receiving & reading LakeEffects, the LFGSM print newsletter
- Networking with fellow alumni, students and faculty
- Attending events
- Submitting and reading Alumni News Briefs
In general, Alumni feel most connected to the School in general and fellow Alumni, as opposed to Staff, Faculty or Students. Most Alumni agreed that LFGSM wants them to feel connected to the School.
Stay tuned for the next Ask an Alum Survey!
